Question: Meaning, our tendency is to want to move on and so we ask you questions that have nothing to do with “admiring your work” but moving on to the next step or other issues?

Question: Why is it that we have to stop growing in order to appreciate - why can’t we just keep moving and appreciate as we go on?

God’s answer:

One-track mind
You need to take time to smell the roses.

Question: One track mind meaning, we’re always in a hurry to get to where we want to go?

God’s answer:

“God, are we there yet?”
Sounds familiar?

Meaning: I always ask God this question.

Question: And you use this “smell the roses” going back to your original answer that “a rose by any other name smells sweet.”

It doesn’t stink.

Question: God, what determines how short/long this period of dormancy is?
